Hello, I have a 2021 mild hybrid, 1 L engine Fiat 500. Second owner and it has about 10 K miles for the first 5K miles. It worked perfectly, anytime the handbrake goes on, and the clutches off at the engine would switch off, also down hills, the battery would charge a little white light came up. Now, every once in a while, neither of these.

Stop/start hasn't worked for a week or so, and I've had a couple of kangarooing events in 2nd gear. Today, after a decent run, without headlamps on, the yellow triangle and stop/start symbols lit up, with a stop/start unavailable message. As the car restarts it turns off or restarts my head unit. I took a feed from the 12v socket. As anyone used a different feed and had no problems ? Like.

Hey all, new to this forum, enjoying my 500 apart from a annoying gremlin which just popped up. Got an issue with my 500, the start stop does not work, I was driving it earlier and the start stop is unavailable message comes up with the start stop symbol on far right, in addition to this, the warning triangle on the bottom left came on too.

There is also a list of conditions that have to be met for SS operation (doors shut, seatbelt on, etc) but all pretty obvious - page 70 of the manual. The engine should also re-start after a stall when you push the clutch pedal in. If you try that it will at least tell you the re-start part of the operation functions.

Posted August 2, 2021. Looking for some advice on a Fiat 500 1.2 petrol convertible with a start stop issue. After driving the car for about 5-6 miles the S start stop disconnected light comes on the dash together with a warning triangle. When you drive it from cold and stall it intentionally the SS works ok but won't come on a junctions etc.
